I was fortunate enough to work with Flawless Faces, & EarthMuse Photograhy. Ryan was shooting a bride for Southern Wedding magazine. I did her fabulous, model's hair! We'll find out this fall if, we made the cover! Can't wait to see!
After that, I motored myself right on over, to KellGrace salon in Winter Park FL. She asked if I would help her with an upcoming wedding. You can imagine my delight. Kell, just happens to be an assistant to Martin Parsons. If you've ever researched bridal hair, more than likely you've seen Martin's work. Kell, is a doll, and truly talented. She showed me some awesome new techniques, and chatted with me about the hair industry. I have so much respect for this lovely lady, and can't wait to work with her again! Here's a few pictures of the wedding we worked together.
And, just to top off a great week. I got to eat at my favorite sushi restaurant with this stud! Hope you all had a fabulous week as well!
First off, let me start by saying how much I love my job! Who else get's to say that, they work with dolls all day long? I mean really? Last week was especially exciting for me. I started the week working for Victoria' Secret. They had a big bash at the Mall of Millenia with Angel Lindsay Ellingson. She was taking pictures with all her fans, while we taught everyone how to get beachy wavey hair for summer! We worked our tails off that day, but it was so much fun!
Stay tuned, for more exciting events that took place this week!
Thanks to Janeen, over at Belle Tulle Events! She is one awesome wedding planner. She put this awesome shoot together, with some fab vendors!
This was my first shoot, so you can imagine how much fun I had. When our model Karyna arrived. We we're told we had almost 2 hours to complete her hair and make-up. Alicia and I didn't know what to do with ourselves! It was so relaxing, not being worried, about time. We started chatting it up with Karyna, and before I knew it, it was time to go! I looked down at my watch and we only had 15 minutes till shoot time... Time really does fly when your having fun! I love my job:)
Here's my contribution to the shoot!

Yesterday we had some amazing consultations. I worked with Alicia from, Flawless Faces. PS, she is amazing:)
We were on location in Clermont! These brides were gorgeous, and super sweet. I love getting to know our girls. Listening to their stories on how they met their fiance, to the drama surrounding the wedding. Take a gander at our work yesterday! Can't wait for these October weddings!
I've been wanting to tell the world about my time at Premier Orlando, since I got home. I spent 2 nights away from my kiddo's with these lovely ladies. It was the first time I'd been away from both of my children, ever! You can only imagine what I dreamt about. Staying up late, and sleeping in late. I couldn't wait to sprawl out on, a bed all for me! Having a meal and a drink all to myself. The list goes on. Well, none of that happened. Except for my own bed part! I was so excited about the hair show, that I could hardly sleep. Then, I couldn't sleep in, because I might get there late, and miss something. Our meals were few and far between. Which made me eat, like I better get a bite, before someone else does.. There's always next year!
This video is one of many that I took that day. As you can tell Jessica was starting to get annoyed with my giddy excitement! Did I mention I love the hair show.. Ok, maybe I'm a little obsessed!
While I was there, I took an updo class with Giovanni Giuntoli! Only one of the best editorial updo artist there is! How exciting is that!
I bought all kinds of great stuff, and couldn't wait to use everything. Every year, I learn so much. I already can't wait until next year. Premier Orlando 2014, here I come!?
This beautiful lady is my sister in law. She and my brother are expecting their first baby in a matter of weeks. I did her hair for their baby shower. We couldn't be happier and more excited to welcome another baby into our family!
It was a lovely day. There were about 30 people who came to celebrate this new wonderful little life that we are expecting. My Mom made delicious foods, and some close family friends came over to help setup the wonderful decorations and prepare the room... Balloons and all! It was great to see some old friends and meet some new ones, and when I was given this opportunity to do her updo, I couldn't resist! The special design I did just for her uses a patent hair twist to achieve, and was designed to compliment her turquoise earrings that you see in first photo.
Look at this amazing view, from our brides room in the Peabody hotel! Just gorgeous. This was my first wedding at the Peabody. Let me tell you. I have seen some pretty nice hotels, but this one so far, Is my favorite!
Trish our bride. Was so calm, cool and collective today. We had the pleasure of styling her hair, her mom and her sister.
Alicia, with Flawless Faces did an amazing job. Once again, on their make-up! Can't wait to see the pics that Rhodes Studios, are taking:)
