It's all the rage! I'm sure you've seen them all over Pintrest. Most brides or bridesmaids, are head over heels for them. I can't say that I blame them! I love the detail, and uniqueness they give to each updo. Here's a few that I've done recently.
Here is the cast of characters. I always have these in my updo bag!
Kenra Thermal Spray
DermOrganic Shaping Spray
Kenra Finishing Spray and
Davines Oi Oil
These are my ultimate must have products. If I were to leave home without any of these, I would be in trouble! The kind of trouble that makes you sweat, even when the a/c is hitting you straight in the face.
I've already talked about the Thermal Spray, you can see it here.
At last, my go to finishing spray by Kenra. If you want your hair to stay in place, I recommend this! When using it, wait a minute or two for it to dry before touching your hair again. Otherwise, it will be sticky, and may mess up all your hard work.
Now, get in there and do some magic on your hair!
I was fortunate enough to work with Flawless Faces, & EarthMuse Photograhy. Ryan was shooting a bride for Southern Wedding magazine. I did her fabulous, model's hair! We'll find out this fall if, we made the cover! Can't wait to see!
After that, I motored myself right on over, to KellGrace salon in Winter Park FL. She asked if I would help her with an upcoming wedding. You can imagine my delight. Kell, just happens to be an assistant to Martin Parsons. If you've ever researched bridal hair, more than likely you've seen Martin's work. Kell, is a doll, and truly talented. She showed me some awesome new techniques, and chatted with me about the hair industry. I have so much respect for this lovely lady, and can't wait to work with her again! Here's a few pictures of the wedding we worked together.
And, just to top off a great week. I got to eat at my favorite sushi restaurant with this stud! Hope you all had a fabulous week as well!
